Web Proxy and Social Boomarking
Web proxy main purpose is to unblock web sites or allow you to surf anonymously. Site's visitors may use web proxy interface - but for limited amount of pages (15-25). If you want to use this site on regular basis - you have to register and login.
By default your profile is invisible in "People" section until you open "edit public profile" interface (through "profile" section or from this page). If you want to hide your profile and bookmarks (all at once) - change "private" option (checkbox in "profile" section). If you change your status from "private" to "public" all your bookmarks becomes visible (unless they are marked as "private").
Searchable "History" shows list of pages which you visited via web proxy interface. Noone can see your history (except for site owner) + you may delete it completely after each session.
Searchable "Bookmarks" module shows list of your own bookmarks added via "Add Bookmarks" interface. To add bookmark via interface you have to register and login. By default your bookmarks are visible - unless your profile marked as private or your marked certain bookmarks as private. Your shared bookmarks may be found via link with your nickname: http://www.thebadreviews.org/Bookmarks/your-nick/ - or RSS feed http://www.thebadreviews.org/rss/your-nick/
To hide your bookmarks from other people you may mark certain bookmarks as "private" (checkbox in "add" or "edit" interface) - or make your whole profile private (see above). If you want to share bookmark (or just forgot to mark it as "private") - it will be visible in "New Bookmarks" section.
After certain amount of site users bookmark same link it becomes "popular" and available in "Hot Links" section.
Site users gain karma through bookmarks-related activities. Higher karma raises users' vote power (so some users may promote links to "popular" status faster then others).
